By 2009, Hello 2010

It's Dec 31st and 2010 is right around the corner. As I think back in 2009 it has been quite a year for me, my family and our friends. All of us have been affected by the down curve of the Economy, but in that hardship gained resolution that our priorities are still in tact. The family dinner's at home, the game nights with friends, the parks, the desert, the time with one another is the richest we will ever be. I am so honored to be surrounded by the type of friends that pick me up when I am down, laugh with me when I falter and stand by me when I struggle. They allow be to be a fool when I want and call me one when I should be told. They make me be better everyday.

I struggled this year in having to define myself by my health issues. I was forced to take a stand for myself and it has been the biggest area of my own personal growth that I have faced in a long time. In this battle I can say with the most certainty that I have an unbelievable support system and I am so fortunate. My family and friends are fantastic. At 37 I will be willing to learn more lessons, willing to let go of some people, and allow more in. I will not be afraid to face anything and I will always try to be to someone what they are to me.

May 2010 be another lessoned filled year!

What it's all about.....

If you could beleive in the unknown then you have faith
If you could hold onto friendship then you have love
If you keep close your family, the happiness surrounds you
If you walk with purpose then you have life

If Christmas is a Birthday then Celebrate it loudly
If HE is what you beleive in then pray
If singing is what you do, then join the choir
If fellowship is what you desire go to Church

If life is everlasting then don't worry
If love never ends then stop searching
If happiness is just a feeling, stop buying things
and if you walk in your truth hold you head up high

What love can do

It started more than 20 years ago
It began with a Boy & Girl and lust don't ya know
With Raquets in tow balls in hand a many a nights were spent staring at this Boy turned Man
I was your Mom's right hand girl, a partner in crime you may say. I stuck with her every minute of everyday.
We ate lots of Mexican and I did not have to play, I just watched her make googley eyes at the boy day after day.
Soon he began to see her, not just as a girl, but as the woman he could love and things began to swirl
A like turned into love turned into Marriage turned into Mom and Dad
A story of love and life when things are so very grand
