So what’s your score today? I often wonder in daily life if we answered this question would we continue on the same path. As in school it was just that one goal you focused on, I don’t think for one minute you ever counted on the journey to be the knowledge base. We strive, we over achieve and we do it at such a cost of integrity sometimes that the focus becomes blurred. I try to remain true to who I am while still working on becoming a better person. In times of struggle I often place myself at my own funeral. Now I know there are not a lot of people that dare to go there, but let’s have a little reality check, it’s the inevitable.
As for mine, it’s a party, now of course I want crying, not from sadness but from the over whelming laughter of how crazy, fun and outspoken I was. For daring to stand on the edge and not allowing fear to ever win, for loving myself enough to work on all my faults and laughing at all my strengths. Showing people that vulnerability is your greatest asset and who you are at a moment does not define you in the now.
Pass or fail really isn’t yours to answer, merely the only working guideline you’ll ever need for life. Will you make the grade, look around and score your Business, your Relationships, your Children and your Happiness… maybe you’ll see that were all a little average, the best place to be for continued growth.

I love it and I love you woman!! I have made a plaque in my house with the quote "Worry more about your character than your reputation. Character is what you are, reputation merely what others think you are." by John Wooden. Sometimes staying true to yourself is hard but it should be our main focus, not all the other bullshit.
Jen, Everyday I am amazed by the serendipity of life. There just are no accidents. Including running into you last weekend. You are a true gift to everyone who knows you including me. I look forward to reading your blog. Keep inspiring us Jen. You have so much to say and we all need to hear it from you! Thanks for being who you are!
