Spoiled America

Anyone notice lately that some of the children being raised today are a little obnoxious? Now I realize this maybe a touchy subject but let’s put it out there. Since when is having some structure, discipline and consequence turn into being a bad parent? I mean my little one is only 3 and you can already see in her surrounding little world the whiners of our future. It is so crazy to me that parenting has become more like a friendship then a job. You have shows like ‘My Super Sweet Sixteen,’ that perpetuates the lack of skills we have as parents but makes the spoiled rotten selfish kids look cool. This is our future? I believe we need a disaster plan for this one and Mother Nature is not to blame. If your kid cannot handle ‘no,’ what are they ever going to be able to handle? There’s going to be a lot of Therapist that will be very booked in the next 20 years undoing the mess that’s been created. Where will our workforces be? My guess is China and India; because we will be too busy talking it out to on leather couches. Get it together soon or English will not be your first language here in America.
