The Corporate Circus

Hello and welcome to the largest tent in America, the Corporate Circus. Yes ladies and Gentleman, the acts are amazing and will surprise even you. As I entered adult hood and the ‘working world’ I was in awe of the possibilities that await me. Little did I know that my training had come long before I even knew how to spell my name. The acts are all the same, you have the Lions and the Tamers or as I see the VP’s and the Board of Directors. You have the Elephant, always in the room but no one ever says anything and yes best of all the clowns. I can hear the background music now and even get a whiff of the popcorn popping. Welcome to your future, learn how to walk the tight rope and don’t count on a harness, they are as unpredictable as the market and the net is unemployment. Don’t push too hard through the crowd as everyone is trying to meet with the Ring Master. Play your cards right and you might be able to see the whole show from the box, if not you sit where I do, in the cheap ticket section staring up the monkey’s ass.
